A big congratulations to the senior girls who made up Kentucky All-Stars. They defeated their counterparts from Indiana in Louisville Friday by a score of 75-47. Sydney Moss, Miss Basketball from Boone County and a University of Florida signee, led the Kentucky team with 14 points and 11 rebounds. LeAsia Wright of Manual and a Western Kentucky University signee was the only other Kentucky player in double figures with 12 points.
The Kentucky team followed that up with a 92-75 victory over the same team in Indianapolis on Saturday. LeAsia Wright led the Kentucky team with 15 points and Sydney Moss added 14. Other Kentucky ladies in double figures: Bre Edler of Marion County and a University of Dayton signee with 13, Micah Jones of Green County and a Western Kentucky University signee with 11, and Kendall Noble of Perry Central and also a WKU signee with 11.
This is the Kentucky girls’ first sweep over Indiana since 2008.
The Kentucky boys did not do so well, losing 90-85 on Friday and 83-73 on Saturday.

Kentucky Junior All-Stars Announced
(Louisville, KY)--Dave Satterly, a Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation
volunteer and game director of the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star Basketball
Classic, announced the 2012 Kentucky Junior Boys and Girls All-Star
teams today in Louisville. The Kentucky High School Boys and Girls
Junior All-Stars teams will play the Indiana All-Stars at Heritage
Christian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday, June 15th and
at North Oldham High School in Goshen, KY at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday,
June 16th. They are:
