In Mr. Meadow's comments 10 Mar, I was very sad to see how disheartened he has become because of some disrespectful individuals. It's a shame. Louis IS Kentucky's #1 Girls Basketball Fan and deserves better treatment for what he has done for the girls game. He has seen countless players, games, and knows talent better than most scouts. He promotes our girls and supplies us with information from across the state that only he would know in a fair and articulate manner. Let me be the first to thank Louis for doing a terrific job and I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do. Your insight still is and will always be second to none.

As I have mentioned countless times to many people, that he is one of the best things to ever happen to girl's basketball in the state out of Kentucky. And for people to make comments like those he said have been made to him and about him, make someone who was a former player and now coach, aggrevated beyond reason. Girls basketball is dogfight for recognition and equality and it will get easier with more people like Mr. Meadows. He is not a fair-weathered fan, nor someone vying for attention. He is in it for the girls past, present, and future who plays this sport. People like those he mentioned will only put basketball back to square 1. I appreciate him and all he has done!
